‘Palm Job’ – 2006 48 Hour Film Festival

In 2006, a team of friends and professionals whom I had worked with, came together to form a team to compete in the annual 48 hour Film Festival, sponsored by The Atlanta Film Festival. We had an amazing production and post-production team put into place. Without everyone’s efforts, we wouldn’t have had such a streamlined process.

This film festival project is unique in that your team is given a character, line of dialogue and a prop that must be used in each team’s film. Then the teams draw from a hat full of genre’s which then set the tone of your film.

We won an audience choice award for the night our film was screened.

Favorite thing that happened on set: we rented a shady hotel room to shoot the final scene of the day. I think we paid $40.00 for the entire night. Given the nature of how our actresses were dressed, people thought we were shooting a porno and I had to explain to the cops what was happening.
