Matt Douglas – Politician

At the time we shot this, there was so much negative campaigning on a local level, that I felt the need to satirize the environment. The production was fairly challenging as the guy we were using for audio didn’t quite have the quality equipment we thought, and it was especially windy that day causing tons of audio issues. In the end, we were able to fix the major issues in post and create a pretty amusing piece.

When I finished the first ad, it didn’t feel right without an absurd negative ad following it, so with random B-Roll, I created a negative ad to ensure we were fair and balanced to both sides of the political spectrum. (Clowns definitely have a political party.)

I shot, directed, edited, produced and wrote the piece.  (Lots to do with a two man crew.)
